Inspired by the our neighbor's lovely irises and the coming of spring, I created these purple iris art batts. It's amazing how many colors are actually in purple irises, isn't it? Take a look at the final photo that I used to choose the colors. There's deep purple, lilac, soft yellow, white, bronze, gold, and the green stem and leaves. I used merino as well as muga silk and bamboo.

The 9th photo shows these art batts along with my handspun and my hand-dyed millspun yarn in the same colorway.
